The Musician
A sense for art and design was something that I had to work hard at for most of my life. Music, however- at least, a knack for tune and rhythm- came pretty naturally, as I was raised in a very musical household. My mom has a vast background in music, having gotten her masters in the field, and both my parents have wicked vocal skills.
That being said, it’s not like I could play the harpsichord right out of the womb or anything. When I was around 14, just as any quirky teen with an appreciation for Twenty One Pilots would, I learned the ukulele. Admittedly if you’re going to learn an instrument, the ukulele is probably one of the easier ones to pick up, especially since it’s better for little hands than the guitar.
With one solid instrument skill under my belt, I’ve since used my sense of rhythm and rhyme to bang out a handful of original songs. It’s a work in progress, and as of making this website I haven’t officially released any whole songs yet. But until I do, this is a hub for seeing what I’ve got so far!
